5-Card Poker

One of the simplest variants of poker, and one that is many poker player’s first introduction to the game of poker, is 5-Card Poker.In five-card draw poker, each player is dealt five cards and has the opportunity to bet and exchange a single card to try for the highest hand.

If you have played any other form of poker, 5-card draw rules are similar in that the aim of the game is to make the best five-card poker hand. Hand rankings, from weakest to strongest, are as follows:

• Ace & King
• One pair
• Two pair
• Three-of-a-kind
• Straight
• Flush
• Full house
• Four-of-a-kind
• Straight flush
• Royal Flush
